Default Gear oil

I was changing the gear oil on my keep for the first time and read that the front gets 1.3 Q and the rear gets 2.4Q. I was able to put 1Q in the front and 2 in the rear. Is this normal or do I need to put more in? Also, I have a leveling kit does this effect it?

Leveling kit has no effect on it. If you just pulled the drain plug then there is some residual oil left in the rears.

If you have the stock covers, and tour Jeep is sitting on level ground, filling to the bottom of the fill hole automatically makes it the right amount. No need to pay attention to a quantity number.

If you get ARB diff covers they have a dipstick.
