Default Gear Question

How long can you go without re-gearing? I'm on 3.73 but now running the 4.5 lift and 35's but being in college and transferring away money is tight so I was looking for some insight if I can put this off for awhile or need to take care of it soon.

It all depends on how long you can handle it. I know guys who have been running 3.73 with 35's for a few years and aren't even considering a gear change. You can always drive with the OD off if you think it is sluggish.

Gearing is really a perfomance upgrade. You won't damage anything by running with the 3.73's - lots of people do. It just depends on what type of power and performance you are expecting from your rig and where/what you are driving (mountains, flat, rocks etc.)
