07 rubi had the 4.10 from the factory. Not too bad for stock tire size of 32 inch. 4.88 are about ideal for the 32 inch rubber with auto trans. Any bigger tires like 33 or 35 inch just get the 5.38 and be done with it. You will love yourself in the morning, and love your jeep even more!!!

I didn't think you could put 5:38's in a D30. Mostly because nobody makes them and they won't fit in the housing.

Probably not a good idea, but somebody is making the 5.38 for the Dana 30 now!

Wow, I had no idea!

Most say its a bad idea for the D44 due to pinion size so I can imagine that you would be risking it by putting them in a D30.
