I have an 08 X and am running 35" tires with a 4" lift. I know I need to regear but I'm ignorant on the subject. I have a dana 30 front and 44 rear with 3.73 ratio. If I switch to 5.13's would I do both axles or would I do 4.10's in front and 5.13's in rear? From what I've read so far, 5.13's won't fit in the dana 30.... what kinda cost am I lookin at??

 

Yes you have to change both front and rear, and yes they do fit and have 5.13's for dana 30, see David at Northridge. They are 579 with the install kit, and you can pay anywhere from 500 to 1200 to have them installed

 

does 579 cover the set for front and rear, or is that per axle?
