I have 4.88's with my 35's and manual tranny. I think it is good and I will keep them when I go to 37's.

If you do mostly highway driving I would say 4.88 that's if you live in pretty flat terrain.

go 5.13s with your auto and 35s, love mine. Autos need as much gearing as possible, you might even want to consider 5.38s depending on what you do with your rig.

5.13s in my auto with 315/70/17 which are a 34 inch tire. I live in the mountains and wouldn't want 4.88's. If I had a dana 44 up front I would have gone with 5.38s.

5.38's if you have the D44 up front. 5.13's if you have the D30. I have 5.38's and love them. Mountain driving sucks with an auto even with 5.38's but its a lot more bearable than with the stock 4.10's. Plus MPG's went up a ton.

I would go with 5.13 if I had much interstate driving. 5.38 if I was keeping it under 60

I just don't like to keep a high rpm over an extended amount of time and if this is a daily driver the mpgs might be a little better by keeping a little higher gear while still maintaining the performance gains of lower than stock gearing
