I am on the same boat. I have a 07 2dr that is my dd but I have a 4inch lift and 35 inch tires. I was told that getting gears would help perfomance off road and dailly driving but I am clueless what to get. I would like to get something that if I get larger tires i dont have to get gears again.

What brand should I get and what size. How much do they cost average? If any one would like to help me feel free to pm me or send me a good link to to read.

I got 5.13s with my 35's and an auto, and its a great setup. Unless you plan on going with some bigger meats, stick to 5.13s..you wont be dissapointed.

I have 4.88s. 3.5" lift and 35s in a 09 Rubicon with an automatic. Nice balance between road and trail.

Completed a cross country road trip (5600mi) with wheeling in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. Averaged ~20mpg
