Default Gears and axles

alright guys i am a bit confused sorry for my ignorance, proud first time jeep owner! long time wanting!

anyways i have a few questions about gearing and axles.
i unfortunantly after purchasing my jk (black X 3.21 gears) started to do a lot of research on upgrades and wheelin stuff. i have come to see that i have poor gearing, and a dana 30 or 35 in rear right.

my question is for me to rectifiy this short coming what is best or are they the same? again forgive my ignorance but from what i have read i should upgrade to 4.88 gears to push 35" tires. my question is do the 4.88 gears go in my current dana rear end or does it get swapped for a dana 44? or is either an option and if so which is better to do? and lastly what are the costs for either option?

thanks in advance!

You can do both either put 4.88's in your current axle once they become available or you can swap in a d44 with 4.88's and a locker.

As of right now there is no locker or gear choices that i am aware of. Once there is we will be building rear ends complete with gears and lockers ready to bolt right in to your jeep.

Default ah cool

oh ok guess i just need to keep my eye open for them, any typical cost of those mods? ball park even.

ah by the way david i have a 3" lift on order with ya

really cool that the aftermarket is this in the loop with the wheelers!

sounds like i may as well upgrade to a d44 while i am at it then. which is more cost effective swapping gears in current axle or upgrade axle.?
