It is the actual tire size.

My mfg's listed size was 33.3", but using my 'actual' height of 32", I am 3rpm off on that chart.

Auto, 5.13's, 295/75/16's
MPH O/D off O/D on
70 3800rpm 2600rpm

Chart shows 2603rpm @ 70

Will the Hypertech max energy do the same thing as the aev procal or the superchips flashpaq? And when I say do the same I mean reset my shift points and all the other stuff. I have the max energy and dont want to buy another when I get gears soon.

That's good to know. Every where I looked they said they were 34.8.

I may be wrong, bu this sounds like you measured to the top of the tread crown.

The correct measurement is to the top edge of the tread shoulder.
This can make a difference of 3/8-1/2" inch depending on the tire and rim combo.

Thumbs up

Let's see Florida, go 4.88's... you won't be down shifting too much there, only when needed. You will get "slightly" better fuel mileage too.
Nothing wrong with 5.13's. But I would do an axle upgrade first many here have done that leaving 5.13's 35's with the D30 combo.
With any serious wheelin' or especially if you "ever" want 37's down the road. Ask people who have already been there done that like WOL, and others here.. just my .02

Thanks all for the comments. Sounds like im leaning toward 5.13s. But another question. What all is involved in replacing the gears. just the ring and pinion? Or is there more involved? Trying to get a price on things

I wouldn't suggest doing it yourself. You need a master install kit and the ring and pinions. The rest is all labor costs. I think I got quoted $1200 for the whole deal.

Let me know how it goes, I'd probably save money driving to IN if that's the case...
