Default Gears going in on monday!!!!

I just set my appointment at the stealership to have my gears done. they are charging 525.00 out the door to put them in. (they botched the TSB on the clutch and left some tranny bolts loose so they are making it up to me).

I will post exact rpms for each gear at 60 and 75 miles an hour as soon as they are in for reference for those contemplating 5.13's in a two door with 35's.

My hypertech max power arrived today so I can set my speedo up and give somewhat accurate mileage results as well.

my rugged ridge bumper will be in next week as well so my mods will be done for a while thanks to all who provided the knowledge whether direct or indirect. I would have spent a lot more and made many mistakes without this forum.

I love the logic
Just Kidding, I would have to consider it to! I still don't think I'd take my Jeep to the dealer for gear swap though.

Default Gears

I talked to the tech he said he has done three sets so far with no complaints. I expressed my concern with gear whine. and they agreed that they will warranty the labor and if I am not satisfied they will fix it. they have since fired the tech that did my tranny I found out he was only on his second day at the dealership when he did my work. I feel comfortable with it. they are very amicable and willing to work with me.
