What gears did you have before the 5:13's?

Ah hell, just ordered the AEV Procal now from Northridge... hopefully it's as useful as every post on it I've read seems to say it is for a regeared auto with 35s...!

Especially with an automatic, a reprogram is a must to get the correct shift points. Also, your speedometer will not be accurate (you may be going faster than you think) until you reprogram for the correct tires and gear ratio.

It is very usefull. Using it lets you get everything back to normal if you change gears or tires etc. It also helps you center the steering wheel and if you plug it in while winching it can raise your idle rpm's to compensate for the electric load. Not bad for the price.

this is exactly how I've felt with different vehicles in the past now I'm not even thinking of changing gears in my jeep.

With the Flashpaq gear ratio and tire size adjustments and the 91 octane tune I have virtually zero gear hunting on all but the steepest of inclines.

Do you have superchips or another brand of programer. Because It will change the shift points in the auto transmissions. You just dial in the gear ratio with the superchips.

He's showing a Hypertech in his sig. Some folk are never satisfied. All I can say is going to 5.13's from 4.10's made a world of difference in mine. There's a ton of info out there about this, I wouldn't allow one poster to make up my mind.
