Default Gears and Lifetime Power train?

As someone who has struggled with 1st gear pop (though since the last fix it has been pop free) I am concerned with the gears negating my power train warranty. I know they have to prove this caused 1st gear pop but does anyone have any views or experiences with it?

we just had a buddy in our staging area get the very same issue covered under his "Extended Warranty" his name is "Firemanmac" and he was super stoked on it! As I would be, but you can ask him any specifics i'm sure he would get back to you.

But, I would say it's all about finding the right dealer.

Remember, if you have aftermarket modifications, the dealership has to be able to PROVE that they caused your complaint. The burden of proof is on them, not the other way around...
This is true; however, just look at what happened to Wayoflife. The dealer flagged his Jeep and it took him a very long and aggravating experience to get it removed. It wasn't until he started talking lawyers that they finally came around. Even though the dealer has to "prove" it, they are betting that you won't go thru the trouble to stand up to them. Read Wayoflifes posts about it.

I have to agree with rutdigger on this. But like Pluke said it is all about the dealer. I have had trouble with dealers in the past over my SRT's. I had one dealer call me and tell me come pick up my car. So I did and when I got there he told me that if I wanted to keep my warranty on the car then do not bring it back here. I was like OK... and walked out and went to another dealer who was really impressed about what I did to the car. So ya it is all about your dealer.
