Default Get new gears?

I have a 2 door X, 4" teraflex, and 37" tires. This is my daily driver most of the time it's hard for my jeep to find a gear to stay in cause most of my roads are S turns, what gears should I be looking at 4:10s? And an estimated price? I have no clue....

With the x, you can only go with 5.13`s and I would definitely go with them! Cost, depends on your area......estimate btwn 1000 - 1500

I would do 5.13s. My factory 4.10s sucked with 35s, but I have an automatic. With the manual I still think 5.13s would be best since you are running 37s.

What size gears you go with will depend on your carrier in each axle. Your first step is finding out what you currently have and which axles you have. A build sheet from any dealer will be most helpful. Some X's came with 3.21s, 3.73s, some with 4.10s.

Master overhaul kit from a certain site sponser will run you about $550 total, plus anywheres between $1200-2000 labor for install depending on the shop.

This link should be very helpful !!

Good luck.
