Default Getting Colorful

getting ready to pull the trigger on my lift, wheels, tires, and other accessories...and I'd like to get a uniform color scheme going....has anyone painted their lift components that are visible underneath? If so, what kind if paint/process is recommended for this? haven't seen anything in FAQ's about this, but may be missing it....

I saw one guy with a 4 point long arm kit once with matching colored arm and diff covers. I asked and he said that he had them powder coated by a 3rd party. Looked sweet!! Although IMHO you are better apt to spend you $$$ on performance mods rather than the show piece of matching colored arm and diff covers. But if you can do this on the cheap...rock it out!!

You could just pick your favorite Krylon color, then it would be easy to touch up if needed.

Powder coating will last the abuse if jeeping but is still not completely indestructible, as nothing really is. But it will cost you.

On the inexpensive side, some rattle can coats will do the trick and can be touched up along the line as mentioned above.

But is it really worth all that time and effort???

It's kind of like taking your skids off to have them polished and clear coated, just sayin
