Getting the job done with front UCA
About a year ago I installed a 2.5" 4-door Teraflex lift on my 2door JK. I also threw on a adj. front tracbar and was pretty happy overall.
About 5,000 miles down the road I have decided I want to dial in the suspension a bit better, as it is flighty at highway speeds. My thought would be to use front LCA to get the job done. Somehow I accidentally ordered the front uppers instead.
The stock length is 18 3/4, the teraflex will shorten to 18 1/4. This should be enough to adjust my caster. My thought would be to use these if possible rather than having to return them and waiting a bit longer to get the same task accomplished. Is my thinking correct or am I missing something?
Thanks!

Your thinking is correct. Shortening the uppers and lengthening the lowers does the same thing. The only issue is that uppers 'may not' adjust short enough to get the caster where you want it. (depends on actual lift height and personal preference on what caster/pinion numbers you want).
With those 4door coils on a 2door, you have somewhere around 3.5-4" of actual lift? Uppers will get you in the ballpark, but if it were me, I would wait on lowers just to have the extra flexability/adjustability.
