Default Getting a little upset!!!!!!!!!

Ok so after MUCH searching, I got cragar 16x8 soft 8s for my jeep. I did not want to have to worry about any rubbing issues with the 15x8s. WELL low and behold MY 16" CRAGARS RUB! What the heck? What are the ods. What do I do???? Is this where the 15" cragars rub or is this a different spot?

Also, Should I have these little locking washers on every lug? Could missing come of these locking washers be the reason for the rub??? I am missing a BUNCH on every hub if that is the case. I just took my stock rims and tires off and sold them on Sunday so they are gone. Could the washers have been stuck on the inside?

I can't answer your question about the wheel rubbing, but I can tell you that you do NOT need the washers at all. They are only there to assist in assembly at the factory. Best of luck with your rubbing issue.

What back spacing are your rims?

I have 16x8 pro-comps w/ 4.25" backspacing, and I have zero issues...

Looks like some minor rubbing on the caliper. Bust out the grinder and be done with it! Need a grinder? Rent one or go to Sears and spend $50 to put it in your toolbox. You will need it again sooner or later.

This is probably more to due with backspacing than wheel diameter. Are you running under 4.5" backspacing?

I have read that people need to shave the pads or run smaller ones. I'm guessing that's the rubbing your referring to.

I've got 5" of backspacing just like everyone else with these 16x8 cragars.

I'm running 3.25" with no issues, so my guess would also be proper BS...
