Thumbs up Getting more flex in my rear?

SO I have the 4" Superlift and I am pretty happy with the front articulation, but I would like to tweek it a bit in the rear. I always leave my swaybar connected in the rear but I've been under the understanding that it doesn't matter too much whether to disconnect it or not.

Anyway, I was recently on an RTI ramp and noticed that my suspension is mostly limited by the rear bump stops. I had added the Teraflex lower bumpstops because I bought my lift second hand and it didn't come with any lower bump stops.Clearance with the brake lines looks good, the shocks should have about another inch or so to go. I am wondering if anyone has kept or even swapped in the stock rear upper bumpstops to get more flex? I'd rather leave in the lower Teraflex bump stops, but I'm not sure what would be better to do. I am by no means a suspension expert so all opinions on this matter are appreciated. And I considered the Evo Rockstars, but they just don't seem realistic for the wheeling I do.

Thank you for any help anyone can provide

flexing your rear what in the world has PA done to you? Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Just kidding get the Rock stars and a sawsall and start hacking away. It will give you and extra 1.5" of clearance and flex! its a win win

by relocating the rear shocks I gained almost 3 more inches of drop and 2 inches ground clearance... longer brake lines a must

So you guys really think the Rockstars are worthwhile? I was really thinking of going the bumpstop route, but now you have me thinking whats another $125 for the Rockstars if it does so much great stuff? But then I guess I will also have to get extended brake lines. Wings Fan - you saw my brake lines...will they need extending to get to full droop? Will they work with my Superlift shocks till I can afford the Bilstein 5100s or possibly the new Evo King non-reservoir shocks? I guess I just really don't know enough about the Rockstars. Anyone out there want to clarify???

I can't remeber how tight they were, but I think you would be fine just test it first with the brackets undone and see.

I like the rock stars only bad thing I've foudn so far is they scoped up a bunch of pee stones the last time out and they just sit in there and squeak until you can get to the next car wash. Maybe thats why the call them rock stars

I can't rember your set up but if you have bump stops top and bottom you should be able to remove on set by check the total compresion lenght of your shocks.

The rockstars are definatly worth it. You should also look at your bumpstops as well. The stops are there to prevent bottoming out your springs, shocks and to help prevent rubbing. A little testing will help determine what height your bumpstops should be for your setup. Do a search for Planman's posts. He is the expert on bumpstops
