(insert flame remark here about racing a modded Wrangler)

Like others have said, the only real gains are a RIPP SC or a HEMI swap, which you won't be happy with if you want to race your friend's civic down the highway.

Superchip when the 2011 tune comes out. It will improve your throttle response

Better than a Hemi swap or Ripp Supercharger....just talk with MBRP and get them to slam a 5.9L 12V Cummins Twin Turbo Diesel into your Jeep...(+600HP and +1000ft/torque)

305/55r20 works out to a 33" tire....seems to me that 5.13 is a little deep for that tire size.. that might be part of the problem. Lots of revs, not much wheel motion.

Thanks for the responses. I know its a Jeep and I know its for offroading, but we were BBQin', talking smack to each other and then I had to lick my wounds. It was with some friends, some drove Chevys Pickups, Ford and some other Jeeps. We were just having a good time, I figured I would do better though. I'm not trying to drag race my jeep, but I would like to have some better throttle response we I need it. Again, thanks for the input, I'm probably gonna buy a Throttle Body Spacer from Airraid and wait for the Superchips programmer to come out for 2011.

Google jk throttle response. There are manufacturers that deal with solely that area. Of course the superchips has the same benefit with many more features. Tell your buds with the pickups to eat it, Jeeps are born and bred in dirt. Pickups are born to work, and pull side duty off-road. I've pulled alot more pickups out of holes than jeeps.

SuperChip, for me it did what I wanted. Got the response I expected out of a 3.8L Jeep and though it's still not what you'd call impressive. It's much better than it was.

TB spacer will just make it whistle.
