Default Getting in and out for the vertically challenged...need ideas

Anyone come up with a way for short folks get into the Jeep. Wife is only 5'5" and while a lifted JK is not here ideal daily driver it is going to be for a while and the sliders don't really help that much. I have an idea, sort of like a stirrup, that will use the seat mount for an attach point but would like to see if anyone else has come up with anything that is not permenantly mounted and is easily accessed.

Thanks!

People have bought little plastic step stools and kept them under their rear seats

how about an extra long looped strap. Kind like those on a monorail or bus. Grab handles only hang down so far.

If she can raise 1 leg high enough to plant her foot, she can then reach the extra long "looped strap" and kinda swing in. Cheap and fast. You can even get a rubberized one for comfort on the hands

That is sort of my thought. This is what I'm looking for (unless something better comes along) but I think that company that made this is OOB.

That is what I have fabbed up as a stop gap but it is straight Ghetto-fab consisting of a step stool, surveyor's twine and a bungee cord

same concept. But is that long enough to wrap around the roll bar and still give some good reach?

The other thing is maybe "technique" if she is the going to be driving it, then show her how to grab the steering wheel, plant foot, and swing hip into seat.

I don't know how tall your JK is, but that is a technique I use.

I haven't tried it on the JK, but I remember on some really big vehicles, using the front tire to push off off. but my JK isn't that big....yet

My girlfriend is 4'11" and she gets in my jeep with 4" of lift and 37s with no problem. If she couldnt get in, she just wouldnt ride. I recommend this attitude, its alot cheaper than buying steps, stools, diapers, or whatever.
