Question Getting partial lift kit...what else do I need?

A guy in my company is going from a 4" to 6" long arm kit.

Selling me his Skyjacker 4" coils, shocks, and lower arms for $50.

Says he has broken and/or welded other parts on the original kit.

Do I need trackbar brackets or should I go with an adjustable trackbar?

I'll get new brake lines.

Anything else I'll need?

Does he have the bump stops? I'd go with the adj track bars. You'll need longer swaybar links too and you should consider upper arms.

If your going 4" depending on your model, you may need a new rear drive shaft.

He has an Unlimited, you won't need driveshafts.

I'd get front and rear trackbars and front lower control arms and rear upper control arms if you want to dial in your caster/pinion angles. Extended brake lines (if disconnecting swaybar links). Bumpstops. Etc...

Ya...I forgot to add, he's giving me the lower control arms.
I have a set of disconnects, will those work to replace the stock swaybar links?

Definitely going to get the front and rear adjustable trackbars, bump stops, and braided brake lines.

I'm still not going to do any serious wheeling until I can save up for gears and lockers. Do I need upper arms also?

That lift has solid control arms I am sure. You should really think about getting adjustable upper front arms, or swapping out the lowers for adjustable if your caster is off. The wrong castor sure makes them drive crappy.
