Gibson headers

Thumbs up Gibson headers

installed Gibson headers last weekend, then took it out to test her out. AND DAMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!! inproved horsepower and torque!!!!!! wheelin in sand in 2WD. highly recommend. kind of a pain to put in took me 6 hours. worth the 420.00 bucks! those header bolts are a bitch!

Are they coated?? If not keep an eye on your battery tray...as they will get hot enough to melt he nearby plastic...I have pics that show this.

no , there not. but modified stock manifold cover to cover the passenger side one. actually fits like a glove. no heat to battery tray. would like to see your picture anyways.

When was the last time your ass dyno was calibrated?

Ok cool...thats important you did that...here is a link that shows an uncoated passenger side header where it melted the battery tray.

I would love to see this install too. I have wanted headers since I got this Jeep. I had Banks on my old Jeep and it rocked. JOE>

will take some pictures,,,,,have to re-torque bolts when i do i will take some pics. already have a small leak but when i retighten should take care of the problem.

is there an easier way to get to those bolts on the battery side? have a small leak and need to retorque. on install had a hell of a time getting to the ones near the firewall. any thoughts?
