Question Gibson Performance Exhaust?

Hey guys, Looking at buying a Gibson Performance Exhaust for my JK. I was wondering if anyone here has already installed one and would be able to give me some feedback on:

* Perfomance
* Noise
* Fuel Economy

Thanks.

Did you get the Gibson in and installed? How does it sound? Happy with it?

The Gibson is the only one I've seen advertised, so I assumed they were already out. I am interested in a catback since the one on my TJ Rubi worked out well. However this time I want a silent catback. I love the silence of the new rig, and besides a little V6 might sound too much like the little ricers buzzing around. Let us know how the Gibson works out.

Default Gibson Exhaust

I had the Gibson Exhaust and AirRaid installed at the same time on my Jeep which I have a 3" Terraflex lift and 35" BFG MT. It did raise the horsepower and top end speed a little bit, but not substantially. The Gibson exhaust will give your jeep a meatier sound when you hit the gas. Both of them together did not raise my mpg, in fact it went down about 0.5/mpg. I don't think the Gibson Exhaust is worth it unless you are looking for the meatier, deeper sound.

I have had mine on for a week now. It is louder inside and at 2000 rpm the noise is a bit loud. I do feel an increase in power but nothing yet on MPG. The kit is well built and very easy to install. Since it was a gift I would say it was worth it but I would have liked it quieter.

Gibson has a sound clip on thier website. I am going to go back and check to see if i have a leak and that is what is causing the noise.

Here is the "side exit" version for the 3.8L JK but they don't have the new dual rear exit muffler sound bite yet.
