Default Go Pro Camera

I am thinking about pulling the trigger on a go pro camera (small hd. video camera in a waterproof case). Does anyone have one? If anyone has pictures of where they mount them, it would be super helpful.

Thanks

I dont have one yet..

Im looking to purchase on over the weekend actually...

Best price ive seen so far is through Amazon..

Im looking at the Surf Edition..

I have a few friends that have the new Hero HD2 series different models... outdoor, motor sports editon and the surf.

and one buddy that had the original

all I can say is id def spend the lil extra and get the HD2 for better quality video and a little bit more user friendly

- Bump for pics of them mounted inside or outside your jeeps, or other places you have mounted..

im mounting one on the paddle board and would like a inside mount for the Jeep as well

I have the camera. Just got it for my anniversary. I haven't mounted it to my rig yet. I'm thinking of securing it to a number of places.

  • On top of my dash mounted CB radio (convenient, easy to turn on/off/start/stop, protected, accessible.)
  • On top of my PSC Brawler Lite Brawler Bar (out front, unobstructed, accessible)
  • Onto the middle footman loop on the windshield frame (convenient, acceessible, blah blah blah)

I got mine from REI when they had 25% off. Plus REI you can return things whenever you want for any reason.

Havent used it on the jeep yet bought mine originally for mountain biking.

I have only used the suction cup mount and it works good. I have the rollbar mount too but have not used it yet. Got that mount for my mini clubman as it has a full race cage in it. I think it will work on the roll bars on the jeep too.
