Default Gobi & OR Fab Carrier

Does anyone know if the OR Fab Tire Carrier & Gobi Rack are compatible? I searched and couldn't find a thing...

I would try sending Yates the OR-Fab rep (yhudson - pm address) a pm asking if they are. It seems like they would be but not sure if there's enough clearance when the carrier is swung open.

I have a Gobi, but not the ORFab tire carrier so I cannot give you a great answer, but here are my observations.

The Gobi is attached at the sides of the jeep, not the rear. The Gobi ladder is on the rear, but is relatively out of the way. Also when I got the Gobi the ladder was optional. The ladder can be either left or right side and they are not interchangeable. I have the left side ladder which appears to be the most common.

The ORFab tire carrier only mounts on the rear below the window.

If I were you I would get pictures of both, especially showing the left side (driver's) of the back of the jeep.

My Gobi is not on my jeep right now so this is the best pic that I have of mine.

Nice rig! I don't see where it will be a problem based on the pic you provided which I appreciate. I'll try and get a response from the vendor and see what they advise.

That is a great question...I have both driver and passenger side ladders on the rear of mine. Just went out took a pic of the passenger side ladder. Interested to here from orfab rep because the new rotopax carrier is in my future for my soon 37's...subscribed

Sorry don't have any close ups but this might help to see what the drivers (left) side looks like with the OR-Fab carrier.

Looking at the pics of the Gobi rack I don't see anything that might interfere with the OR-Fab carrier.
