I would like to get a Gobi rack but I want the option of taking my hardtop off. I know the rack lifts back for top removal but how are you hardtop hoist guys removing your top? I have to use a hoist in my garage as I dont have anyone that can help me remove the top and I can't imagine I could lift the rack back and then hoist my top.

 

My guess you would have to make some sort of platform that you slid the hard top onto. But it would probably be a pain in the ass. Or you could just get a MBRP rack that comes off when you take the top off and you could still use your hoist. Other than that, I got nothin.
