Default Gobi Rack... opinions/pics please..

I have some money saved up and was curious about getting a light bar or going the extra mile and getting the gobi rack. I absolutly love look the gobi rack and have heard nothing but great reviews from same.

Just the same there are limited pics/videos of the gobi rack online. I was wondering if anyone on here actually has the gobi rack installed could possibly take pics or a vid of how the rack works while taking the top up or down.. as well as pics of how the rack connects to the stock mounts of the jeep...

I have a hard top that I keep on during the winter, but a soft top will be used all summer long.. Its just a big purchase and I want to know from some people who have personally had the gobi rack installed...

Thanks for all the responses.. and I will keep this post updated if I do get it with pics and vids of same..

There's an extensive thread here with many install pics.

I've also done a longer-term writeup you can find at the Alpha Expedition site here.

Although I've taken the soft top down by flipping the rack back, I don't have a video of the process. I'm planning to take one when it warms up since it's a common question. There are several folks on here who have the rack so I'm sure they will be able to answer any other specific questions you have if you post 'em up.

I'm having issues accessing my photos online at the moment, but I have some closeups of the mounting points in the front and rear. The mounts in front re-use the bolts for the windshield/A pillar brackets, and the rear re-use the bumper mounting holes in the frame. It's a pretty clean install. I'll post up the pics when my gallery comes back.
