Just installed my gobi rack ad I love it! Sturdy as hell! But one problem. My wind deflector vibrates like hell above 45MPH, like so much it hits the top part of my jeep and I was so scared it would scrape off the
Paint! So I took it off, but there's conflicting installation steps.

These are the instructions that came with the rack and followed it to the Letter, notice the brackets and how the wind deflector is positioned . The vibration is crazy unbearable.

Not sure...mine looks exactly like the drawing you got off the Gobi website. It looks like your brackets are bolted above the rack...mine are bolted to the underside like the web drawing. Did you try this?

Yeah I also tried to position the brackets a different way but the brackets I got is more like a V shape and if I'm not mistaken the other brackets on the web site are longer and more like a L shape, can u check yours to see if I'm correct.

I will when I get home tonight and post a pic for you. It seems your fairing is too high...mine rests closer to the top of the window. I know this because I tried to use the more widely available 16" wiper blades once and they hit the fairing, so had to try to find 15"ers.

I believe the key is having the bottom edge of the wind deflector up against the window. On mine, there is a gasket that fits at the bottom. This eliminates the chance of damage. There is no vibration what so ever.

After a closer look at your pics, I noticed that Gobi has changed the Stealth design. The older ones like mine, are slanted the newer one are vertical. The deflector you have is not as wide as what I have.
