Gobi Roof Rack and River Raider Snorkel - Will it fit?

I have a Gen 1 River Raider Snorkel.

I want to buy a Gobi Stealth Roof Rack.

Will it fit? Looking for actual experience, not opinions, please.

Maybe snorkel people and rack people are just two different breeds

Kenny (from River Raider) said it would fit with slight modification to the rack.

I have a gen.2 River Raider snorkel and I am considering the Gobi rack, did anyone ever figure out if the rack will work with the snorkel?
