How is your RK ride on the street? Do you recall the stock ride? Do you like it a lot better?

Hands down, RK kit is the way to go. With their latest Gen 3 joints, there's no lube needs for years (track bar has a zerk) and no squeaks so far on mine. Didn't even realize it had that reputation.

Clayton is good, strong stuff also but I thought my brother in law's rig road rough with it.

You pretty much covered the rest although I've heard equally good about TF.

I've got the 3.5 max travel w Bilstiens and wouldn't think of going with anything else so far, and we're on the same terrain.

I went with a zone before I knew much about the jeep world and only looke at price. I have regretted it ever since. I've been able to compensate for the rough ride with bilstein shocks and TF control arms but if I was you I'd stick TF or RK.

Just wondering, where did you see that MC 2.5" lift wasn't out for another year? Unless you are talking the full game changer, but for awhile now they have had the 2.5 lift listed on there site. I'm not necessarily suggesting them as I am not lifted yet myself, but this is one of the lifts that I'm considering. They have the basic 2.5 lift up to the 2.5 game changer lite which has OME shock vs. there 6 pak shock.

Sorry just went back and reread your post as you said you have a 2 door and MC 2.5 is for 4 doors.

I had a 2.5 Skyjacker on an 07 JKU...was just ok
I had a Black Diamond 2" on my TJ...was good (don't know if they even exist anymore)
I have the T-flex 2.5" Coil lift with shocks, axle mount rear bracket, etc. on my 12 JKU...not stiff...very pleased thus far

I'm not a fanboy but I would recommend the TF to anyone. I have no knowledge of RK but they get good press...

Hope that helps. Enjoy doing your research...shopping for a lift is a good problem to have!!!
