Hope you have a good shop vac!
My first time out, I had just the back of the Trektop off, but even with everything closed up front, I was a dust covered mess after the first 1/4 mile on the dirt road.
Next time out, fully enclosed, HVAC on recycle when following another vehicle, and blowing fresh when in the lead. Still dust covered mess.
Third time out, doors and all top off. Dust covered mess, then rain on the way home. Talk about fun!!!
Enjoy your Jeep, and plan on a day to detail after each outting if you want it to look good.

Better to have them off and not get scratches, a filthy mess is not permanent

Doorless adds to the Jeep experience. Our doors are modular for a reason!

I went through mud once back when I had my TJ with top town and doors off. I found mud in places I couldn't even imagine for months afterwards, not to mention the pita it was to clean the seats (cloth) and to get mud out of the nooks and crannies.
Me too - I freakin hate mud and that's all we have here in the PNW for most of the year.

I did spend two weeks in moab last summer with no doors/top. Loved it!!! I did run into an unexpected rain storm and plenty of red mud inside my jeep but it was worth it.

I've gone once. Was awesome. When I got back, I thought I had a tan interior. But wouldn't think twice about doing it again.

If you're gonna go doorless, I suggest removing the top as well. Getting mud off the inside of the top is a PITA.

Spends on where I wheel at... When I was in So-Cal never wheeled with top or doors. PNW, doors but no top. Down hear in the South East I learned after the first time out go completely buttoned up unless we are at the beach. Way to many ticks to get knocked in to the Jeep, deer flies, bees and wasps everywhere, generally all kinds of crap you don't want in the Jeep.

Default Going Topless.

I love the idea but in practice it's a dusty mess. Be prepared to clean with a fine tooth comb... especially in dusty socal.

It depends on what I'm expecting to encounter. If it's mud, then the doors are on and top's up. Otherwise, I'm usually running topless and doorless. Dusty roads are a pain, unless you LOVE spending hours detailing every inch of your interior, but generally worth it.
