Default Is this a good deal?

hi all,
I've been running 33 inch cooper STT for almost 6 month now, i've installed the terra BB recently + some OME leveling kit ( 3'' total) and been feeling the urge to uprgrade to 35's. My local tyre shop proposed to trade my 5 STT (70% of tread) +900$, for 5 Mickey thompson ATZ 35 inch. Is the offer fair? and how does the MT performance off road compare to the STT's.
Thank you

If you want to go with a tire that size do it. you wont have any use for 33's anymore and if you dont trade them your gonna pay close to 1800 for those MT ATZ's

You may want to shop around for a better price. Look at onlinetires.com for price comparison. 35/12.50/17's run from $210 for fierce attitude mt's to $315 for the Mickey atz's. I buy all my tires from them and get them mounted and balanced locally for $50.

I'm sort of in the same boat, but I'm going from stock Rubi BFG MT's to 35's (not sure which yet). I've posted my tires on Craigslist and have a few bites becuse I know the tire folks aren't going to give me on trade what i can sell them for out right. If you have a little patience, I think that's the way to go. I've seen the Cooper's...nice tires.
