Default Good on and off road tires?

I'm finally installing my 4" TeraFlex lift this weekend. I am very happy with the look of the lift. The arms are very beefy and of course its going to look great on my jeep.

Now I'm looking for tires. This is still my main ride so I don't want to do more than 35". I only work 10 miles from home but again my main ride so I get some mileage on it. When I go off road the trails I do are mainly dirt and rock (AZ off road) not much mud and snow only in winter when I go up to the northern part.

My question is has anyone found a somewhat aggresive tire that will grab the rock but no wear down to easy on the regular road?

well for what you are looking for in a tire I would say the goodyear MTR's I had them on my old jeep and I loved them... it is a good all around tire... also look at the toyo open country mud terrain, I read many great things about them but can't say from experiance... I know they get pricey though... good luck

I went with the Nitto Mud Grapplers as they have a solid rep on/off road. They are a bit aggresive and noisy, but tolerable. From everything I've heard they hold there tread longer than most.

Good luck...

my last set of cooper STTs lasted 60,000 miles, were great off road, and are the most reasonable priced tire out there. My 33" STTs (seen below) cost $160 each. The 35"s are still under $200. good luck

The goodyear MTR is a good tire but pay attention to rotation times. The Toyo Muds is way to pricey for 470.00 each for 35s on Maui.I looked at the guy at the counter and said WHAT!. ...you gotta be FU$#*&^ crazy and left.I went to Goodyear and the MTRs were 270.00.Well you probally no what I will be picking up.

If you don't mind some noise, the Nitto M.G.'s are the best, for something quieter, Toyo Open Country MT's are the way to go.
