Deciding between the Goodyear Duratrac and Toyo Open Country AT2 for my Unlimited Sport. Not doing any type of lift so i'm going with LT285/70R17's on XD811 Rockstar II's.

Any thoughts on which tire would be best? For look and performance.

Is there a better tire that i could go with?

Pictures would be awesome.

I can't speak for the Toyo's, but I just got a set of 285/70/17 DuraTracs and love them so far. Barely any road noise, been great in the snow, was good in mud (wasn't supper deep mud, but messy)
I would highly recommend them.

 

 

The Toyo Open Country RT (Rugger Terrain) would be a closer match to the Duratrac. They are slightly more aggressive than the Toyo All Terrains you are comparing them to. The RT's are very aggressive and are a great tire in terms of comfort etc. With the AT2 you are likely going to get more life out of the tread though. It all depends on how many miles you put on the Jeep and what you use it for.

I think I'm going to throw in the 1" front spring spacers to the time being. Just to level it out til I get s lift.
