Goodyear MT/Rs w/Kevlar thoughts after the first 5k
You definetly feel more of the small stuff but the suspension and and shocks then seem to do their part to control the rest. If wasn't bad at all. Give it a shot.
I am still going to get it road-forced though to see if it helps.

I have had my 37" load range E since they came out. They seem to like 26-28 psi. drop them to 13 off road. Seem to be wearing good side wall is close to inch thick don't sag much when aired down. do great on rock, sand, mud, and clay is hard to clear out but not to bad. In snow they are awesome. need to sipe for rain though, been sucked into a puddle a few times.Road noise is picking up a bit since new. I have about 10,000 miles on them.
Just to clear a few things up.
My tires are balanced fine, they just took a lot of weight to get them right and were balanced on the first go around. One of five tires would not balance, should have been returned and seems to work fine with Dyna beads after the first rotation.
I am running 8" wide wheels and with a somewhat wider wheel I probably wouldn't need to air down as much. Increasing the air pressure to 30psi in the front and 32psi in the rear seems to eliminate the bounce but isn't going to assure proper tire wear.
The bounce problem I have experienced wouldn't happen on most of the other sizes of Goodyear MTRs. The 35x12.5x17s have a very low Service Description at 111 and you wouldn't experience the same type of issues with most of the other sizes above 33" having a 119 or higher service rating.
Again, these tire have performed well for me off road and I just came back from a great Sunday afternoon running some trails. On Road is a different story and I need to put more air in them than I would like and to do over again I would have opted for the LT315/70R17s or moved to 37s each with substantially higher Service Descriptions of 119+, making them a load range "D" tire.

I have had these fuckers road forced three times. Was driving perfect last week, did not drive at all this weekend, now Im getting my 60mph shake again. Its starting to drive me nuts. Granted the shop road forces it free of charge but still. It seems they are losing balance in just a couple of days. Maybe the upping the psi will help.
That is the same thing my MT/R with kevlar tires do Ryanc. They are different each time I drive the Jeep, depending on how the Jeep is parked. It feels like there is a weak spot in the tire carcass that flat spots if the Jeep is parked with that weak side down, but does not flat spot if the Jeep is parked with that weak side up. Which gets back to what I said earlier, ... the problem is poor build quality, or poor quality control by Goodyear. They are good tires if you get a good set, but if you don't get a good set they are terrible.
Sounds like the same issue i am having with my 37" MTRs. I only have 300 miles on them so far. Driving in town is not an issue, but once i start to approach freeway speeds, I develop a shimmy. I had them balanced again after about 200 miles and did not notice any appreciable difference. I am running a little bit lower pressure then others who have posted on this thread and will see if increasing the pressure helps...
Thank God Im not the only one. I thought I was going crazy. There are sooo many folks running these tires and have not heard any complaints at all. When I had these road forced they were not picking up any lateral issues. Maybe these tires are the perfect match for the dynabeads?
I have ran these from 28 psi 30, 32 now 34. 34 psi seems to be the best so far for my set up. I am not sure if a different lift and or shocks would change that for someone else though. I am running TF 2.5 coils and Bilstein 5100 shocks.
I got an appt. tomorrow to get these road-forced balanced. I will post up the outcome.

It's not uncommon to need to re-balance a new set of MTs after the first 500 miles and my complaint wasn't with the balancing but how much weight it took. As mentioned, the Hunter GSP9700 kicked the one tire and said I should get it replaced. Squashed for time I got the Dyna beads in and rotated it in as a spare with no issues.
The reason for the secondary balance is supposedly because some of the factory out of roundness will take care of itself with the initial road wear.
