if you have your doubts, just get them and see for yourself if you like them or not. me, i so wanted to like them as they really do look way cool and the thought of coming "with kevlar" sounded so strong. unfortunately, and i really do mean "unfortuantely", they just didn't cut it for me. if you talk to guys like mel from off road evolution, someone who ran them extensively for a while and did the UA with them, you'll hear the same thing.

What did you not like about them? Im using the now and I think the are good but they are terrible in the mud. I'm thinking about the toyos for my next set are they better in the mud than the mtr/k?

I have then now and love them. Going on 40,000 miles and still look pretty good. I am in Georgia so we have a lot of red clay mud the cakes tires up fast and these clean out good. Only had them in the snow and ice once and had no complaints..They are getting louder but it is not a bother..I will buy again..I am running 35/12.50/17 and it is on a daily driver and toy

Had them dynamically balanced (as you should with any large tire) and now have 24,000 on them. No issues at all. they do well in the rocks, don't do mud at all. I will buy them again, but that won't be for a while. Wearing well.

$300 for 4 with 5000 miles I think I'm take my chances with them. Don't think that's a bad deal. Their 275/70/17 that give me a cheap quick idea on how 33's will look and help me decide if I want to go bigger.

Used to have them on my 96 XJ and now I have them on my 2010 JK. Favorite tire. New asymmetrical tread pattern makes them pretty quiet too. For $300, that's a steal.

I wouldn't buy them again new, but at $300 it would be easy to open my wallet.

I think it is about a 50/50 split on people who like them. Personally I havent had most of the problems with mine that some have had but I still wouldnt get them again, well for 300 bucks i might haha. My complaint with them is the traction is unpredictable in the rocks. My street ride is good, they seem fine in mud and snow. Just my opinion.
