Default Are Goodyear MTR's to tall?

Being I have a 2013 auto w/3.73 ,( Teraflex 2.5 coil) I wanted a small 35" tire, I am going to mount on my stock wheels (already have spacers). I thought KM2 would be my best choice, I heard they run small, But I found Mtr's (35/12.5/17) for quite a bit cheaper and with the rebate now it is almost to good to pass. I heard the Mtr's run true to size, Would this be a problem? Also heard a lot of balancing issues, are they really that bad?

If you want a slightly smaller 35" tire that performs well, look no further than Goodyear Duratracs in 315/70-R17. It measures out about 34" and looks and works great. Much quieter than the MTR and I know because I went from Duratracs to MTRs.

Yea I really debated the Duratracs, they are cheaper even still. I have a Rubicon now with the Stock mud tires, and they work for me. Unfortunately my trails consist of only MUD, so I thought the Duratracs might not be the best choice for me.

None are true to size. My 315/70/17 mtr that they claim are 34.8" are actually 34.25".

My 35x12.5R17 MTRs when new measured 34" when mounted and under the jeep. I run them at 30 psi on road and 12 psi off road without a problem. I rotate them every oil change and they've been wearing good. They can be difficult to balance and may give you a speed wobble but just rotate them if this occurs. I've run them on slippery wet granite, deep mud, sand and the slick rock out in Moab and they perform flawlessly. I'll be moving to 37" MTRs next year.

My 35" km2's measured 33.5" mounted and my 37" MTR K's measure 36.5" mounted. If that helps at all.
