Default Goodyear wrangler MTR tires

I ordered a set of Wrangler MTR's from discount tire..My question is has anyone used these tires on their JK? If so what did you think of them?
I should have them by early next week.

Thanks

I wheel with a guy who runs them on his CJ8 and swear by then too. Says he would never run anything else. They have held up extremely well, and have excellent traction and sidwall grip.

I may go with them when I go to 35s...

I loved them on my YJ for rocks.......Was getting them for my JK till I found out they don't make them in 35's. So I went with Toyo's. Now that I want 37's, Im going back to MTR's!!!

My buddy has them on his TJ and they seem to perform great. They do seem to wear out fast though (compared to say BFGs).

Although I don't have a set on the JK, a friend has a set of 33x12.50x15 on his TJ. I've ridden with him many times and IMHO they are great. They do have a bit of whine to them. They have kept balance nicely and have very good traction. After about 25K, they have worn well for him, and he likes them.

I'm run MT/Rs on three different trucks. I have a set of 35x12.50's on my YJ at the moment. They are probably the best all around tire I've run. Excellent traction in almost any situation, and long life for an off road tire.

The only place I'm not perfectly happy with them is deep snow. Tire is too narrow for sufficient flotation, and the voids are a bit small so they pack up unless you give 'em a little "go pedal".

Chris.

I ran them on my 73 Bronco. I loved them. Rotate every 5000 miles and you should have no problems.
