For my GoPro Hero2, I've got the Motorsports Edition, so I use the suction cup mount mostly. The suction cup mount doesn't hold on the hardtop (ask me how I know!) so I'll probably put a 3M sticky mount on the hardtop. I have also used the roll bar mount for mounting on the brush guard on my front bumper. I have also used the tripod mount for mounting it on a mono-pod that I already have. I used the mono-pod to get views up above the JK. Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance yet to take the JK and GoPro on the trails, so I played around with different mounting spots and angles on my drives to work. Here's a quick video I put together with iMovie to show some of the different angles that I experimented with:

The video isn't as sharp as other GoPro videos I've seen, so I wonder -- Was it on minimum resolution? Mount vibration?

That's not the raw video. Put it into iMovie and then exported out. I put up a low res so that it should play on phones. Original is full HD. I had tried uploading a higher res to utube but it looked jacked up for some reason. Also, iMovie exports only certain resolution formats which drives me crazy. Probably going to have to fork out $$$ for Final Cut Pro.

Also, there were some low light scenes that were a little blotchy in the original video. Seems like the GoPro does well for most light levels but does struggle a little in lower light.
