Default Got my Teraflex 2.5 BB!!!

so what makes a long week at work finally worth it???coming home to this:

i've studied the write ups on line and a few things make me nervous:

1) the instructions talk about drilling a hole in the factory track bar using the template-- why am i drilling my track bar?

2)what is the piece? can't seem to find in any writeups:

is it related to this?

3) in WOLs writeup he talks about using some compression straps to aling the trackbar?? WTF??

forgive the newbie questions. still trying to learn..
thanks
Steve

Steve

That is your rear trackbar relocation bracket. After you drill the hole in the existing frame mounted trackbar bracket according to the template in the instructions this gets bolted in and becomes your new mounting location for the rear trackbar. The purpose is to re-center the rear axle after the lift. There are many threads on installing this bracket.

I posted this in the Marylanders thread in the East Coast staging area, "Is anyone putting on their own lift? I would love to lend a hand in exhange for some knowledge. Is so, post a topic called something like "Maryland Lift Party" or PM me you want a small crowd."
I would love to see someone do that step 52 and drill out rear trackbar frame mount.

Did you ever finish it, how'd it go? How did you resolve any snags you may have encountered?
