Default Got rubi D44 axles...

Doing a axle swap to rubi D44s. Now what? I was thinking of ORE inner C gussets. They already have diff covers. Should I go ahead and get new shafts why I have them out? Skids maybe too?

lucky sob...
Thats awesome
Good luck on the install. Not sure what else you'll want, gussets and tube inserts might be a great idea while it's out...but if it were me...and it isn't...but if it were, I'd just run the axel shafts that it came with until they were trashed then upgrade, but thats based on a cost concern.

It really all depends on the budget.

Chromoly shafts in my opinion are a must for serious offroading.
ORE gussetts and Skids

And wheel it!

Just talked to a buddy of mine. He told me not to buy any gussets this weekend. No point in buying them when he has a plasma cutter, welder etc etc. He wants to check out the axles and see if he can make some custom stuff.. You should see the scatter shield he made for his Dodge Ram when he does tractor pulls....looks sweet but tractor pulls...hahahaha. To each their own.

There are some perks to being Active duty...lol.

He also sent me the drive shafts and some other misc parts. Will I need to use the Rubi shafts over the stock x? Is it the same thing?

Before you bolt in the axle, you might think about some axles sleeves to strengthen the tubes, some control arm bracket skids and beef up the track bar mount.

The shafts are a little out of my price range right now and I have no idea what it would cost for the tubes. I've seen the skids and that seems pretty easy to make. I have not looked into the track bar mount.
