gps went haywire?

Default gps went haywire?

i recently put a tuffy locking radio security box in my 08 jk. and now my in dash gps is going haywire it says its found me but its about 10 miles away anyone else have this issue and is that little black box just underneath that my gps antenna?

That's the antenna for the nav, and the metal lock box now covers the signal. This is what kept me from this purchase.

I'm sure you relocated the GPS according to the instructions, correct? After doing so, it still takes a little bit of driving to get it "calibrated" again, but it'll be fine.

i purchased it used and was un aware of any relocation

Ah ha...in that case, you can find some install instructions for it on our website - https://www.tuffyproducts.com/images...st/160INST.pdf There may be some variation to those instructions as there was a product mod several years ago...
