I'm about to try installing mine and I'm curious about this as well

Just figured I would bring this back up and ask the same question again since it wasn't really answered.

Sooooooooo, the Northridge bolt kit is just for the lower control arms and track bars. Any reason not to replace the upper's bolts with grade 8 9/16 units too?

Synergy has a kit. I can't imagine you'd get them in for the front of the rear uppers. I hate taking those out. Super long tab on those. The load on the front uppers isn't as much as the other arms and they're smaller bolts. I guess the logic is partly ease of replacement for the lowers and track bars.

The bolts are well worth the investment though.

Thanks for the reply, fellow Michigander.

I have the NR bolt kit already. Just will be installing my RK kit soon, and wondering if I should get them for the uppers while Im there or not bother.
