Is the grade eight kit worth doing ? Will there really be a difference that is noticeable? Sent using smoke signals

I like having the slightly larger bolts and lock nut's for the front track bar. As far as all the CA's ... Meh

Northridge 4x4 sells a complete kit and yes it is worth it. when they engineered the Jeep they specked all the holes as SAE but they used Metric bolts.

So joe blow home mechanic guy thinks he knows more than the actual engineers who design these things. I think not. There's a massive thread on this at WAL.

Why is it that everyone uses metric stuff on a American Product? I got Front sway bar quick discos a week ago I haven't put them on yet because I lost my 21mm wrench.

I think 8 grade bolts are a good upgrade. 12 pack of beer and a few hours good Sunday project in the garage if its not too cold.

Could very well be. Engineers know a lot, but they can't know everything.
And a company engineer isn't always free to do what's best for the product and the consumer.

Judgement call time. People fighting deathwobble or some type of loose steering can spend a lot of time and money tracking down the issue(s). Some of them have reported that new bolts helped. Then again, maybe it was just that something was loose and they finally properly torqued all bolts when they were replacing.

I guess my opinion is that if you don't have a problem, leave it alone. But if you want to do the bolts anyway, find out the sizes and see if you can source them locally to save some money.

I would agree, if you are already under the Jeep upgrading or fixing some other issue it is simple to pull existing hardware and replace it with better fitting bolts. All you need is some hand tools or a basic impact gun and about an hour.

Default mines done

but personally i think it was over blown . i mean even the 9/16 bolts we all bought isnt correct fit either so id say a lot of $ making for a lot of scrapyard bolts ( shoulders dont even make it to the other side )
it appears that engineers couldnt get it right and then some after market wizard couldnt get it right either

btw are you interested in some hair growth program
