Default Greasing low profile zerks. What are y'all using?

Trying to find a grease gun fitting that will grease a low profile zerk, the kind that look like a dished out hex nut, for lack of a better description.

I bought an adapter from Tractor Supply that fits in the zerk just fine, but it is such a poor fit to the grease gun (just snaps into the end of the gun like a normal zerk would) that grease just skeets all out of the connection instead of going in the zerk. Does anyone have a recommendation for a better fitting?

These zerks are on my lower ball joints, and they need to be low profile to keep from getting whacked by the axle U-joint, but as a last resort I could start unscrewing them, putting in a regular zerk, grease them, then reinstall the low profile ones. Kind of a PITA, but at least I would know they are being greased properly.

Any suggestions?

Jason

X2

I bought the same time fitting for my double carden.
It's a needle fitting. I could not even grease the damn thing off the jeep. Grease kept oozing out the connector like yours did.

Screwed a regular zerk in and then the needle zerk and bolted back up.

Some grease guns are better than others, but even with my $60 gun I have a few that I have to partially disassemble the parts to insure proper greasing.

Try this. I ride a Turner and use their grease gun for the fittings on the bike. Works great

Unscrew the needle adapter and screw directly to the end of your grease gun. This will help keep the mess under control. There are some needle tips with a harden end that won't wear out over time.
