I'm still pretty new to the whole aftermarket control arm game. How often do these need to be greased? Do I need to do anything special? I gotta get rid of the old grease and put the new in or what? I will have a grease gun and I will use the proper grease. On another note, what is the proper grease to use? haha. thanks

Im not expert but I use Lucas Red N Tacky. Can be had at most auto stores.

I grease every 3K using an electric grease gun.

Needle zerks you can get a grease needle at a auto parts store. I changed mine to reg zerks and broke one off. Going back to needle zerks

The newer flex ends have a zert and a plug. Remove the plug to burp any air/old grease out. Sometimes you need to back the zert out a little. I'll find one zert that flows great and will just use it on all the arms. I need to get a electric grease gun badly.

I can't back mine out because they are stripped.

Joe,

Should grease be coming out both sides of the joint?

No, you'll find that some will from both while others will from only one. Then the next time you grease them some will and others won't. No worries.

As the suspension cycles during driving will grease get to the other side? These are johnny joints right?
