Default Grill Mod F-up

I was done (or so I thought) with my duplicolor paint job on my grill. I had it set in my driveway to finish drying and a piece of paper landed and stuck to it. When I took it off, it left a mess of duplicolor underneath it. Will I be able to sand it off and re-paint or should I just look for a new grill now?

Wait for it to dry completely. Sand it down until the problem area feels smooth. Repaint that spot. I think that'll take care of it, however I'm not an auto body expert or anything.

Try using paint thinner on a clean rag and rubbing that spot then re-spray the area. If not you can use a fine grit sand paper and re-spray, you shouldn't have to remove all of the paint.

I agree what till it drys then sand it down. Make sure you use a sanding block and feather it out (don't stay in that one spot) so it won't have waves

Sanding worked. Time consuming but it got the job done.

If anyone does this, wait until you know ALL of it is completely dry before you set it outside.
