ACE Hardware carries them in their TV cable section, however even after a really good cleaning with acitone mine still fell off in a week.

I've seen them in Home Depot. And most autoparts stores have them.

I got mine at Grainger. I think they only sell to companies but luckily my company was already in their database so I was able to pick them up there. If you have a Grainger close by I would just recommend stopping in and asking to look at their catalog. The gal at my local Grainger was very helpful.

I took a look at the Grainger website and this MIGHT be it...

I got them at HD right by the ties. 100 count pack was a deal.

Glue them! I had many pop off. Also, use way more than you think you need!

I've done the mod twice - first time used gorilla glue and it worked well except that the backing that comes on the plate itself separated....still happened with gorilla glue.

Second time I used marine expoxy in a tube (clear, cheap, etc.) and it worked. I basically placed the plate down where I wanted them with the self adhesive backing and then 'caulked' around them with the epoxy. Haven't had one come lose yet (10 months).....

Grainger sells to the public now, at least in my area.

i got mine at HD in the electrical section. they should be right by the zip ties and wire nuts and crimp sleeves. i figured out how many i'd need then soaked them in lacquer thinner for a while (maybe 10-15 min). the adhesive backing comes right off and floats to the surface while the plastic sits at the bottom. then i cleaned the inside of the grill with some thinner and used JB weld to attach them. nice and strong.

oh, and if you use the soak method, make sure u wear gloves when you take the pieces out. the adhesive dissolves into the thinner and while you don't notice it at first, you'll get really sticky really quick. not a lot of fun. just saving you the headache since i learned the hard way

I used the rubberized loctite brand superglue, pulled off the self-adhesive pad and trimmed the sides so they fit between the slots making full contact. They've been on 8 months, 9,000 miles and not one has come loose. If you start at one corner you can roll the adhesive pad right off.
