Default Hand throttle on a JK??

Hey guys. I have an 07 Rubicon 6 speed and I've been recently introduced to some serious Rock crawling and hill climbing.
I'm having a hell of a time driving a stick so I was wondering with the drive by wire system if its possible to do a hand throttle or a high idle switch?

I've had some luck using an aev procal with the winch high idle setting. But its a little annoying plugging and unplugging it in. Plus the ebrake needs one click for it to work.

So any suggestions or ideas would be great.
Thanks guys

The only one I've ever seen is the one by off road engineering. Most people like them that I have read but I have no experience with them.

That's awesome! That's exactly what I was looking for. Had no idea they made something like that.
Thank you so much

A "working" parking brake FTW
I have seen two DYI hand throttles. I don't think either guys were happy with it.
Google should find the threads for you.

I have a 2007 6 speed Sahara and have done some decent rock crawling, the Rubicon, for one. I have found that the crawl tune on the superchips tuner really helps with throttle control. You may also want to re-gear to 4.88 or 5.13 to help slow you down. The biggest improvement was installing the 4:1 transfer case, you already have that.
