Hard top with opening windows?
I've always been a soft top person, but have been seriously considering getting a hard top recently. Does anyone know of a hard top that has side windows which open up like the back? (preferably opening up just like the rear window does) Seems like that would be really useful for loading / unloading gear in the back, but I haven't been able to find anything like that so far.
I can't imagine anyone valuing this access that much, but here is one option:

If there is anyone else out there that has modified a hard top like you're wanting, I think it would be jscherb. He's out on a lot of expedition forums as well as the jeep forums if you google around. He might even have some other ideas that interest you.

I have the rear seat of my 2-door removed, and I built a dog bed to go in the back. It's really convenient to be able to unzip the soft-top windows and access things that are on top of it from the sides. Was looking to maintain that feature with a hard top.
Mainly meant $2400 was dang pricey for the option to have 2 windows open
If you're a handy person, maybe another idea would be to look for a damaged hard top you could pick up for cheap, then fab up something that works for you.

Well, from what I've seen most hard tops start around $2500 anyway, so that's not so bad.

I thought I had recalled some slider window. That right there appears to be a good solution. Buy a used hard top for $1400 +/-, but that kit for $500, and recoup a bit of the cost by selling your glass to someone that had a wreck or broke one.
