Default Hard top quick removal/install screws

What do you think of these quick removal screws for the hard top?

There are only six in the set, so you'd have to still deal
with the 2 torx screws on the B pillar.

Are these available for other applications or did this
guy have them manufactured just for Jeeps?

I bit the bullet and ordered a set. I figure if they werent worth it, its only $15, and I'm sure someone here would be interested in them for $10

I have a set for my 2004 TJ and last week I installed a set on my 2007 JK. There is six thumb screws in the set which is what I needed for the 2 dr. Wrangler. Nice addition. No more hunting down torx.

Also, I have the same eBAY vendors soft top thumb screws for my TJ and they are a nice add on also.

That eBAY seller is reliable and quick to ship.

Ok, thanks for the info.

OJ, any chance of a couple of those
screws clearing the freedom top panels
if we tried to use them at the B pillars
as well? I suppose the're too tall.

These look like a great idea. The four door requires 8. Do these not fit under the front top panels?

I just ordered a set.

I think they'll be too tall to use under the freedom panels.

Maybe Bill or OJ can try this out.
