Default Hard Top re-paint?

Has anyone painted their hard top? Suggestions?
Found a great deal on a Khaki top ($750), but my ride needs the black colored one. My paint and wheels are all black, so the khaki obviously looks kinda bad. Recommendations appreciated!

What about the interior of the hard top?
Anybody got any recommendations on improving that?
I feel like I'm inside of a cooler with all that white going on.

I'm so needy!

Here is a link that shows a painted interior. I know i have seen another with fabric covering like they use on speakers. It may not sound like much but it looked very professional. I try to find it.

Also check out Co Jeepman. They have an interior fabric and so does Colorado Offroad.

I checked on mine about a month ago and was quoted around 2200 to paint the hard top body color (mine is black also).

If you have the space to do it and aren't trying to get a high gloss black, just rattle can it. I sprayed an old CJ hardtop black and it held up really well and actually looked great. (sorry, no pics) Since the top has a textured surface it should hold paint well and not show scratches. I only gave mine one coat, but if you have the space and the time, 3 to 4 coats of a good outdoor paint should hold up really well. If you took your time, I don't think anyone would be able to tell you did it yourself.
